BIM technology allows for the virtual framing of structures in a pre-construction phase, allowing for the verification of proper alignment, interference checking and installation concerns.
In any building project, the structural information must be accurate in order for the pieces to properly fit together. More often than not, interferences occur in the field causing expensive delays and field changes which may compromise the structural integrity of the completed structure.
Software parameters can be defined for framing to your exact building standard. This will result in an accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) matching exactly how the field crews are framing your plans.
